The latest Short Term Grantees have been selected

January 21, 2021

To end the year 2020 on a truly positive note and with a clear commitment to continued international research mobility, in December the Executive Board of the Bayreuth Humboldt Centre selected another five Short Term Grantees.

They join our 21 Fellows and Grantees funded by the Centre to date, and they do so from Canada, Norway, Singapore, Italy and South Africa. In their new collaborative projects with Bayreuth colleagues, they investigate measurement reactivity in physical activity research (Dr. Danielle Arigo with host Jun.-Prof. Dr. Laura König); develop a new framework for the exploration of allocation issues in health care (Prof. Attila Tanyi with host Prof. Dr. Julian Fink); tackle spider silk protein encapsulation (Dr. Daniel Teh with host Prof. Dr. Thomas Scheibel); explore the potential of digital humanties in historiography (Dr. Thomas Wallnig with host PD Dr. Stefan Benz); and model the resource status of African savanna trees (Dr. Corli Wigley-Coetsee with host Prof. Dr. Steven Higgins).

We are very much looking forward to welcoming all new Grantees on campus!
